The next graduation season will commence on 29 April 2021. Information related to the upcoming ceremonies will be updated on the website and emailed to potential graduates by mid-March 2021.

HOW WILL THE VIRTUAL GRADUATION WORKGraduates will be able to access a recording of the conferral which will take place on 18 December 2020, via the University website from 10h00. The Chancellor will confer the degrees, diplomas and certificates to all those that will appear on the booklet.
Masters and PhD students who have submitted their final and corrected thesis to the library, which has also been approved by their supervisor, by no later than 27 November 2020.

You had not submitted your theses or supporting documents by the stipulated deadlines; or
You have not had your theses approved by your supervisor(s) as per the stipulated deadlines.

Electronic certificates will be emailed to graduates from 19-22 December 2020.
Graduates who have signed an Acknowledgement of Debt and are graduating with fees outstanding will not receive a certificate but a letter of completion instead. Once all fees have been settled you may contact the Graduations Office to obtain your certificate.
